Update :: 05.06.07
Happy Cinco de Mayo motherfuckers. New interface that actually works now up.
Update :: 04.26.07
Everything's as updated as it comes. UNTESTED- no time, no time... just in case it's borked and you need the old ones, here are classic (old) and extras (old)
Update :: 03.07.07
New KTM and Enemy Cast Bars (NECB) and everything else is as updated as it gets. Do it.
Update :: 02.22.07
Updated KLH again, added Buffalo, which lets you move, resize, and reformat the time on buffs/weaponbuffs/debuffs. I put BigWigs and GotWood back in as well.. not sure how they disappeared in the first place, but w/e. Everything else was updated to current versions.
Update :: 02.15.07
Updated KLHThreatMeter, added a thing that points to your corpse when you're dead (cartographer corpse something) and added an ace mod to expand the size of quest/profession windows and such. Updated everything else as well.
EDIT: Updated KTM is REQUIRED for EJ Karazhan runs so download this. Also, make sure that "Enable out of date AddOns" is checked, because some of the Ace addons don't have updated .toc files (20003) and if you don't it will make me look bad since lots of shit will be broken.
Update :: 02.10.07
Been a few weeks, time for another update. Nothing groundbreaking, some noticeable improvements to cartographer. I switched back to DurabilityFu from DuraTek because I like the repair popup. Removed SuperInspect and CharacterInfo/Storage because they seem to be a bit broken.
I'm putting a link to the wowaceupdater with the download links. I recommend running it if you get errors, or just would like to keep your stuff as fresh as possible. To do so with this mix you will want to do this:
- Place all files in your WoW directory
- Open WowAceUpdater.exe, click OK
- click Edit->Mark Installed AddOns
- click File->Install/Update Marked AddOns->Without Externals
And you're done.
Lastly, raiding mods are now included in the illmod.classic.zip since we're at/near level cap and it's getting to be that time.
Update :: 01.26.07
Pretty big update, almost everything is updated, and all seems to be in working order. Added Cartographer and a handful of its modules. Due to the leveling/non-raid state of the game currently, and owing to non-universal mods, I've split the mod in two- Classic & Extras. Classic is the stuff I think every class could use most or all the time, and the Extras folder contains mods specific to Classes, PVP/BGs, and Raiding. So to install:
Update :: 01.19.07
Things should be a bit smoother with this one. It inclused a "Lock Chat" Fubar mod, so maybe that will be a workaround for the mysterious disappearing combat log. I'll be changing some things for the next one.
Update :: 01.13.07
OK stuff works now.
Quick Update :: 01.10.07
I have determined that ZHunter was fucking up all sorts of stuff, regardless of what you do. You should disable it for now. Sorry for the inconvenience Brendan. Also, gonffbar is NOT broken, but if you experience an error you should delete your saved variable file for it in World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\SavedVariables.
Update :: 01.10.07 NOTE- GonffBar (energywatch) may still be broken
So it seems 2.0.3 did a bit more to the UI than I expected (seemed fine on the PTR, but oh well). I haven't gotten a chance to play since it went live, but figured an update would be in order. Curse and WoWAce servers are shitting themselves currently (hooray!) but here is everything updated as of yesterday (01/09). I readded Natur's Enemy Cast Bars because it seems far more robust than Blizzard's now-integrated version, and despite being fairly sizeable doesn't seem to be too intensive. Try it out.
Update :: 12.26.06 NOTE- GonffBar (energywatch) is broken, keep your old one
Addons continue to be updated almost daily as authors are getting more and more 2.0/TBC savvy. I'm not exactly sure what the UI changes are between 2.0.1 (live) and 2.0.3 (current PTR & expansion beta) are, but I've noticed that the updates since last week have helped stability and decreased errors. Updated in this version:
Update :: 12.21.06
2.0.x has been with us for a little while now, and the mod devs are starting to get their shit together, but many (if not most) AddOns are still considered in a "beta" stage. This means updates will be fairly frequent until most of the kinks are worked out. Also, I now know how to optimally update ACE addons, which is very good (thank you, WowAceUpdater). All AddOns are currently up to date as of this writing.
You may want to clear out as many saved variables as you can stand, to avoid errors. Here is a current list of AddOns (with some descriptions stolen from Gurgthock because I am that lazy)- all the other folders in the AddOns folder are libraries. Even though it looks messier, it's more efficient for Ace addons since each library will only be loaded once. So deal with it...
R = Raid
C = Class-Specific
T = Type-Specific (i.e. tank, healer, etc.)
Update :: 12.16.06
OK the UI will remain familiar, but the core of much of it has changed, particular in changing over to a lot of Ace-based mods. Much of this was stolen from Gurgthock's UI, without a lot of the reskinning and bongo frames and stuff. It's good, I promise, even though for the time being there is a regenfu error on startup (it doesn't seem to affect anything).
Update :: 12.05.06
WoW 2.0 having raped and ravaged most of the addons, I was able to put together a preliminary UI before the UI servers ate shit... so this slim little collection should work, but I make no promises. I have tested most of it a bit though, so basics like Perl and Titan and ABInfo are fine. Here's a list:
Atlas -
Displays instance maps while ingame
usage:
The command '/atlas' will bring up the frame. All the maps are selectable
from the drop down menu.
Autobar -
An autoloading set of five (for now) buttons that loads with items in
your packs and lets you bind them directly. Avoids forgetting to load your
action bar when you get new potions, bandages, etc.
usage:
- /autobar (lists commands)
- /autobar config (gui)
Chronos -
Library dealing with time, timer, or countdown related functions
CT_RaidAssist -
Provides health, mana, buff, and debuff information for raid members
usage:
GUI and additional options in CT_RaidAssist tab of social window
MozzAltCamera -
Temporarily disables the smart camera tracking
usage: Press alt while rotating the camera
Sea -
Library of useful functions
StanceSets -
Builds on the WeaponQuickSwap addon by adding a panel where you can drag
and drop weapon sets per stance / shape.
usage:
- Typing /stancesets will open the stance set configuration dialog.
- Can be bound to a key
- Requires WeaponQuickSwap
WeaponQuickSwap -
Function for quickly swapping between 2 weapon sets.
usage: Allows for weapon names to be used in macros for equipping
different weapons by name rather than bag slot
WhisperCast -
Casts buffs and cures on those who send tells containing certain phrases
usage:
You can show the gui with /wc show, or /wc hide. There are also keybindings to show/hide the gui.
Now, if someone wants a buff, or a debuff from you, tell them to make a macro to whisper you. Whispers that this mod catches are:
fort
stam
shadow
spirit
int
dampen
amplify
mark
thorns
might
wisdom
salvation
freedom
light
sacrifice
kings
shield
For the debuffs, it will select what class you are, and what to use on the target. The person wanting a cure just has to whisper you with what type of debuff is on them.
dispel
disease
curse
poison
ZoomMap -
Inflates minimap and places in the middle of the screen (excellent for
herbalism and finding pathways through hills)
usage:
Bind to a key
